In my opinion she is one of the top five female voices in country music history. I am very impressed about her being unashamed in displaying her faith in today’s world. I grew up in a missionary Baptist church (still go today) and grew up singing all these moving hymns from a hymnal book.

Stealing people's music is what she does best and this album is no exception. The same old karoke wooden voice - no emotion, no vulnerability, no tonal quality - just singing loud for the sake of trying to prove something. Underwood offers nothing new here or on any albums. Here career has been made on the backs of others sucesses and contributes nothing. This with her fake accident to allow herself to have plastic surgery is about as authentic as her music and her soul.

This is what we’ve been waiting for from Carrie! We all knew she could SING but, this is on another level! Each song is just flawless. I thought coming into this that How Great Thou Art would be my favorite, but Softly and Tenderly has stolen the show for me. This album is an all around masterpiece.
